TADAIMA 2025 : Call for Speakers & Side Event Organizers
TADAIMA SHIMODA 2025 is a co-creative event in Shimoda, Japan, where digital nomads and local residents come together to build friendships and explore what it means to shape the future of our communities together.
We are now accepting applications for:
Talks may include—but are not limited to:
- Working and living across cultures
- Building a business in Japan as a non-native
- Community-driven innovation and entrepreneurship
- Your business or ambitions in Japan, Asia, or globally
- Your own experience of living, working, or creating
2. Side Event Organizers (Nov 12–14 main week / 3-28 TADAIMA month)
Side events are interactive sessions or community-led activities held during 1 month.
This is your opportunity to co-create something meaningful with locals, students, and fellow nomads. You are welcome to propose your own ideas!
Suggested categories:
- Workshops
Skill or knowledge sharing: business, art, music, language, wellness, sustainability, etc. - Local co-creation
With students, business owners, or residents - Cultural exchange or creative experiences
- Intention-based living, wellness, or mindset sessions
- Interactive performances or micro-events

- Sessions may be recorded or photographed for use in TADAIMA SHIMODA media. Let us know in advance if this is a concern
- The following are strictly prohibited:

- Discriminatory or exclusionary language (based on nationality, gender, sexuality, religion, language, disability, etc.)
- Harassment (verbal, physical, psychological)
- Unauthorized sales or aggressive recruitment
- Participants who violate these rules may be removed immediately. No refunds will be given.
- For physically active sessions (e.g., yoga), please participate at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries.
- We welcome only those who align with our values of co-creation, safety, and inclusivity.
