
Co-creating Futures: Global Talent Meets Local Communities
In November 2025, Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture will welcome regional innovators from around the world!
Co-hosted by the Japan Digital Nomads Association (JDNA) and ELENTO LLC, the “JDNA Digital Nomad Summit 2025 Part II: Shimoda Edition — “TADAIMA Mirai Kaigi” will take place in Shimoda over three days, from Wednesday, November 12 to Friday, November 14.
Leaders from the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, and beyond, who connect local communities with global talent, will gather under the theme “Co-Creating the Future ~ Glocal Talent Meets Local Communities.” The program will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, networking sessions, and community exchanges. On the final day, participants themselves will take the stage to present their “My Next Action Declaration” in English through an interactive workshop.
*This summit is held as one of the main programs within TADAIMA 2025, a month-long initiative for co-creating the future of local communities with global talent.

Yeji Cheon
Seoul Nooks / Founder・Community Builder
Based in South Korea, she is a pioneer community builder in coworking spaces. With over 10 years of experience across multiple coworking spaces, she has been deeply involved in shaping the coworking industry.
From 2015, she spent three years traveling as a digital nomad, and today she runs coliving & coworking communities with a truly global perspective.
She studied at Waseda University, speaks fluent Japanese, and has a deep understanding of Japanese culture.

John Ho
Alt_ / Co-founder
Co-founder and Community Builder of Alt_ Chiang Mai. After studying Cognitive Science at UCLA and gaining over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he co-founded Alt_ Chiang Mai, a coliving & coworking space for digital nomads.
He has spoken at numerous digital nomad and startup events around the world.
His mission is to bridge local talent in Thailand with the global nomad community, fostering creative, tech-driven collaboration.

Haren Tambi
SOKKOOL Coliving / Chief Happiness Manager
Based in Bali, Indonesia. He served as a popular community manager at Dojo Bali, the coworking space that helped transform Bali into the “Mecca of Digital Nomads.”
Currently, he works as the Chief Happiness Manager at SOKKOOL Coliving, hosting over 300–400 digital nomads every month. He also participates as a community manager in various nomad programs across Japan. In November 2024, he visited Shimoda as part of TADAIMA SHIMODA, and in TADAIMA 2025, he will join the program as part of the organizing team.
