When you visit tadaima-japan.jp and any associated sub-domains (collectively, the “Site“), use our mobile applications (the “App“), or engage with our services (together with the Site and App, the “Services“), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this Policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have.
Please read this Policy carefully as it will help you understand what we do with the information that we collect.
1. Definitions
- “Personal Data” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- “Processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on Personal Data.
- “Data Subject” means the individual whose Personal Data is processed.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information. Name, email address, postal address, telephone number, job title, company name, and any other information you choose to provide when you register, complete a form, or purchase our Services.
- Communications. The content of messages, emails, or other communications you send us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use or navigate our Services, certain information is collected automatically, including:
- Usage Data. Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring URLs, and other interactions.
- Device Data. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language preference, and approximate geolocation (city-level).
2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and local storage (collectively, “Cookies“) to collect and store information, including through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), as detailed in Section 4 below. You can control Cookies through your browser settings and other tools (see Section 9, “Your Rights and Choices”).
3. Why We Process Personal Data (Purposes & Legal Bases)
We process your Personal Data only when we have a legal basis under applicable data-protection law, including:
- Performance of a contract (§6 (1)(b) GDPR). To provide, operate, and maintain our Services;
- Legitimate interests (§6 (1)(f) GDPR). To understand how our Services are used, improve and develop new features, ensure security, and conduct marketing within reasonable expectations;
- Consent (§6 (1)(a) GDPR). For optional analytics, non-essential Cookies, or marketing where required;
- Legal obligation (§6 (1)(c) GDPR). To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.
4. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, a web-analytical service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics uses first-party Cookies to measure users’ interactions with the Site. Data collected may include page views, events (e.g., clicks, scrolls), device data, and approximate geolocation. We have implemented the following privacy-enhancing configurations:
- IP Anonymization. We have enabled IP masking so that Google truncates your IP address before storage and processing.
- Data Retention. GA4 data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.
- No Cross-Product Linking. GA4 data is not combined with advertising data unless you have separately consented to such processing within your Google account.
- Ads Personalization. Ads features are disabled by default. Where you provide consent, we may enable demographics and interests reports.
Google may process the collected data on servers in the United States and other countries. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers, as applicable.
You can prevent the storage of Cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). For more information on Google’s data practices, please visit https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How We Share Personal Data
We share your information only as described below:
- Service Providers. Trusted vendors who perform services for us (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance. When required to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process.
- Business Transfers. In connection with any merger, sale, or reorganization of our business, provided that the successor entity is bound by this Policy.
- With Consent. For any other purpose disclosed to you and with your explicit consent.
We do not sell Personal Data as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
6. International Data Transfers
Your Personal Data may be transferred to—and processed in—countries other than your own. Where we transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Criteria include the length of our relationship with you, legal obligations, and potential or actual disputes.
8. Security of Your Information
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- Restriction of processing;
- Portability of your Personal Data;

10. Marketing Communications
Where you opt to receive marketing emails, we process your email address and interaction data (opens, clicks) to provide personalized offers. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the footer of any marketing email or contacting us at info@elento.jp.
